My name is Andrew Mitchell and I am a Bay Area based Ux/ Ui Designer, Graphic Designer, and Illustrator . After graduating from Massachusetts College of Art and Design I moved back to New York to continue my career as a freelance artists. When I started illustration I mainly worked traditionally using pencil, pens, markers, and ink and drew in my sketchbook everyday trying to capture the world around me. I began to study the people around me looking at our differences and similarities capturing their images in my books. Moving around a lot gave me a bigger more diverse understanding of how people move, talk, dress, and live their lives. Its the environment where we live and how we grow up, it shapes and molds us and ultimately has a huge impact on us. So working a lot in Character Design and concept art only comes natural to me. Creating your own world is a very interesting thing where you have the power to control the environment and its creation, Using design to bring ideas to life.
